Our church was given a large "kerplunk" of money that was designated to go to benevolence. The pastors and LBA decided to take that kerplunk and bless 8 people/families over 4 weeks...2 per Sunday, one per service. The catch was that the 8 had to be nominated by others in the congregation, they had to be active in the church and completely up on their tithing.
This morning at the end of first service Pastor John called to the platform Ken & Judy Davis. That's us. Whoa! He then presented us with the keys to a new car!!!! Not brand new but new to us and one that is actually from THIS decade!!!
We are so humbled and totally floored by this generous gifting! We are praising God for His continuing to supply our needs as we are struggling in this economy! His economy knows NO recession!
Thank you to our family at Parkway for being a vessel of God's blessings!

Judy, Ken and family,
I am just full of praise to God for allowing the donation for heling those in need and that one of those who were in need was one of our family...you! This does such a great gift not only to you and your family, but to us who care and carry a burden for your needs to the Lord...God has heard our prayers and yours and He has answered and delivered what will be so beneficial to you! You have indeed been blessed and we are blessed to know that He has blessed you in this way!

WOW! What a MIGHTY God we/you serve! How awesome it is that He chose to use Parkway as the medium to meet such a great need! We add our gratitude to that of the Davis family's for the loving deed done by the Parkway congregation. Thanks for being heaven's conduit!

Yay! How awesome is it that there are people who are obedient to the Spirit's leading, and churches who, in this economy of belt tightening, are obedient and insightful to impact the lives of 8 families in the valley. Praise God!! Take me for a ride sometime.
